Largo von Loomis is an XLarge, striking looking 2 year old bi-color German Shepherd. He has been nicknamed “Pony Boy” because of his size, but Largo is more goofy than he is intimidating. He is mid-to-high energy and very excited to go on walks, and this happy boy’s tail is constantly on the wag. Largo is confident and very silly - his happiness is infectious and he always makes his handlers grin. He might pull on walks or try to give hugs in the beginning; since he is unaware of his size, he needs correction from a strong and experienced handler. Largo is a wonderful boy and a complete cuddle bug who would probably win a snuggling competition. He is self-assured when entering playgroups and very ready to meet all his four-legged friends in the yard. He runs and jumps a lot in his typical enthusiastic manner, since he is still full of puppy energy and eager to have fun! Largo can play a little rough so he might not be suitable for a home with very young children. He is wonderful with submissive dogs and other high-energy dogs who would tumble around the yard with him all day, but not great with dominant dogs. Largo is looking for an active family with a large yard who would appreciate his fun energy and love him for the goofball he is.
